A team has one owner, any number of team admins, and members. Teams are created from iRacing: the first driver of an iRacing team to drive with the desktop app running creates the team and becomes its owner. Every other driver is added as a member when they drive the team car. Roles are shown next to each name on the team page.

The team name and iRacing team ID follow your iRacing team and cannot be changed on the website. To rename the team, rename it on iRacing: the new name will show the next time any member drives.
Team admins and members can leave at any time: on the team page, open Danger zone and click Leave team. The owner cannot leave: transfer ownership first, or delete the team.
On the team page, open Danger zone and click Transfer ownership. Pick any member. They become the owner and you stay in the team as a team admin. A team has one owner at a time.
Only the owner can delete a team (Danger zone › Delete this team). This removes everything in it: members, all race plans and their race history, uploaded telemetry, and the team's shared race analyses. Shared links stop working. This cannot be undone.
